Goal | Runtime power management on Zynq |
Approach | Voltage and Frequency Scaling + Dynamic Power Management (DPM) |
Benefits | Monitor and change voltage levels to control power and energy at runtime |
Credit | This work has been done under the ENPOWER project (funded by EPSRC) at University of Bristol. |
Dynamic energy management minimises the energy consumption in a processing system by configuring the tasks running on system to consume minimum possible energy. This configuration can be scaling the voltage/frequency or emigrating the tasks from one processing system to another.
